Task 4 - How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Here is an image of the technologies which we have used during our music video project. We have had a task to take a picture of these technologies and annotate it. We also asked to get images of the websites and software which we have used. However, I couldn't work out how to annotate the image within Photo-shop so I decided to write about it after the picture.
















Here is an image which I have created in Photoshop and this shows some of the technologies that we used to create our music video. This includes a HD camera, a tripod and an Apple Mac computer. These technologies really helped use when making our video and we couldn't imagine how we would have made it.
However, we had a think about how we would have created our video if we weren't able to get hold of all the technologies that we have this time. We would have to use a DV camera instead of a HD, if we didn't have a tripod we would have to do all of our shots hand-held, if we didn't have the software on the Mac, such as Final Cut and Photoshop, we would have to try and film the footage exactly how we wanted it and pause it in the right place to start again. If we didn't have all of the online sites, such as Blogger and Facebook, we would have to write down all of the evidence that we needed and we would have to get our feedback by showing people our video face to face.
All of these factors were so important when making our video and it made things a lot easier to get done within the time that we had.
