The Practice Music Video Shoot

To begin with, the shoot started of slowly but quite well. We begun by getting all the right people in the right uniforms and getting them to doing their correct jobs. Loz was our 'britney' and we got him all dressed up in the right school girls uniform and wig and myself and few others started to help him learn his dance moves. We all stood in front of a laptop, which was playing the video and we used the video and my drawings to help us all the learn the right moves for the right frames.

We didnt have a long time to pratice the dance routine as we only had a few hours to shoot and our director had a more quicker plan which he hadn't informed us of. Therefore, about half an hour after starting, we were then down in the gym, where we needed to shoot, to start shooting our video.

The gym was the perfect place to shoot because we had a big enough hall way to dance down, there were doors which we could use to come out of and we also had a lot of lockers which we could open for a lot of the shots.

The shooting was quite simple, as most shot only consisted of the two backing dancers and 'britney'. The shooting itself was basic, just us dancing and 'britney' miming and the camera man completing the right camera angles and shots.

These shots were completed quite quickly but over a big period of time as there were a lot of them and then we just had to shoot shots of the guys coming out of 'class rooms' and opening lockers.

We also had a short period of time to go to a classroom so we could shoot the shots at the beginning of the video, where Britney was tapping the talbe with her pencil and tapping her foot on the talbe leg. These were again simple and done quick at the beginning of the hours we had and I think they were the best parts of what we shot.
