When we first got introduced to the task, was when we first started planning the task and this planning was the first hour out of two that we managed to complete before the final and only shooting of the task.
The first hour of planning was basically us just being assigned a role within the task, planning who was going to bring in what and be certain people within the video. This was quite quickly completed, as we had chosen good directors, who were James and Kirk. These two were the complete opposite of each other, as Kirk was calm and thoughtful and James was stern and forceful.
This helped our group get on with thing a lot quicker as Kirk would be good at informing us of what was best and James was best at enforcing it firmly so we got it done good and quick.
Our second and last planning was done the day before we were shooting. Even though this sounds unplanned and stupid, it turned out to be useful for us, as people were more likely to remember to do things and would remember the routine better for the next day. For this session we were just getting all the last ends together, such as, the dance moves and who was bringing in the uniforms for the shoot the next day. This planning session went very well as everyone knew we had a deadline and that we needed to get it done be that time. My mini task to complete before the shoot was to draw out each dance move within each shot and then to teach it as best I could to the group who was dancing the next day.
