Permission From Artist

When it came to getting permission from our artist, we were very lucky, as Becky is my best friend and this made it easier to get permission. She was very happy to let us use for of her songs and to help us with shooting the music video. All we had to do regarding permission was just to ask her and to inform of her of what we intended to do and she was perfectly happy with everything.
However, if we were to write a letter of permission, this is how we would have wrote it.

Dear Becky Young,

We are Long Road students and we are currently working on a music video project. This video will be marked by examiners and also be featured on YouTube. We are writing to ask you if you would be willing to let us use one of your songs for our music video and also if you would like to star within the video.
This video will need to be completed within three weeks, we will notify you of the dates but if you were to be in the video, you would need to be available within that time period. We will also pitch to you our ideas we have so far and what we intend to do for your video.
